Wow, Mark gave me the link of the website with the comics. and i must say: Excellent!! The usage of the shadows in this artwork is very very creepy and eerie.. It gave me the same feeling while watching the original movie...

Thanks for your feedback! I agree, they did a great job really evoking desolation and despair here. I think future HBC contributors can learn a thing or two from this issue in particular as far as mood goes. Stick around... more to come cool.gif

this one has to be my fave so far, its so dark and true to the mythos.

but i do feel the story didn't really end... i think there could easily be a part2 to this chapter. easily.

Yeha, my bad really. I tried to make it end on a wham impact moment that, really, would work better with a rising musical acommpaniment. I think to feel really concluded it probably needed a more fitting 'comic' ending. but we live and learn. Glad you enjoyed the dark feel.

Same for me this comic has a bit of open ending. Perhaps there can be shown how Thomas is being morphed in a cenobite or so, or being tortured. But well, it's ok for an ending smile.gif

The art of this comic is great as well, and 1 of the comics with the most pages so far.

This is a great story, and any outing that takes us into a Labyrinth is a good one, in my opinion. Very good use of black and white/negatives in some panels, especially. Reminded me of the Forbidden. big grin.gif

I don't think he should ascend to Cenobitehood. He doesn't strike me as Ceno material somehow.

Decent story but not a fan of the blurry smudge effect on the panels.

Also the art suffers a bit with it looking a little too "digital." I'm sure someone will come back with well do one yourself and well sure.

People perceive evil as being a force that abides by rules some deity set aside. Evil is absence of either good or bad, right or wrong. It is neither kind nor cruel. It only serves its own purpose, to its own means. Its nature is simple. Its a beast that will tear you apart in spite of your religion, faith or humanity.

Some of the panels had real photos in them? looks good, simple and darker, really awesome first issue.

Some friends said the labyrinth looked like harry potter's library, I don't think so.

I wish there were more detailed close-ups of the cenobite.

The ending with Leviathan is classic.

The pinUp, hahaha well, I was really experimenting styles (also, the image was forced in the page format, the cenobites look taller, the original image is wider), I'm doing other PinUp more detailed for use in any future issue tongue.gif

Another B&W comic, but great painting style. The eye on p. 4 reminds me of "Songs of Metal and Flesh", and the Tour de Hell is a classic HR theme.
